    About Hebrew College
Hebrew College photo by Peter VanderwarkerSince our founding in 1921 as a transdenominational academic institution, Hebrew College has drawn together gifted faculty and dedicated students from all ideological perspectives in a passionate pursuit of Jewish knowledge. In so doing, the College both models and advances klal Yisrael—a community of all Jews. Our graduates bring to their work a deep commitment not only to Jewish literacy but also to the belief that Jewish community is strengthened by diversity.

Our graduate programs include the nation's only full-time, transdenominational Rabbinical School at an accredited academic institution and a unique Cantor-Educator Program that combines a Master of Jewish Education with cantorial ordination in a transdenominational setting. Hebrew College also offers a wide range of graduate and undergraduate degrees and certificates in Jewish Studies and Jewish Education as well as the acclaimed Me'ah adult learning program, now available beyond New England in Metro New York and select east coast sites.
