Shamash's Webmaster's FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) was
created to answer the most common questions we are asked.
Scripts and interactive features supported on the Shamash web site include:
A Counter for web pages to monitor the traffic on your web site
FormMail a program which allows a user to fill out a web form, and email the
information to a person of your choice.
Server Side Includes (SSI) allows a webmaster
to create pages which are dynamically created each time they are viewed.
Calendar Script created by the HUC
displays a month of events maintained in a simple database file in month-by-month
and week-by-week calendars. Hebrew dates are displayed along with secular dates,
and Jewish holidays (according to Reform Jewish practice) are also shown.
Hebrew Date JavaScript is a script which displays the
Hebrew and Gregorian dates. This is not authored by Shamash, but is displayed here.
