  • Congregation Ahavas Sholom - Orthodox shul of about 100 members, Daily services, regular schedule of classes, youth program located in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to daily worship services and weekly Jewish studies classes, the congregation offers a variety of social, educational, cultural, holiday and youth programs. Much of the synagogue's programming is focused on family participation and is designed to include something for everyone. On Shabbos morning, in addition to the regular minyan, a Youth Minyan meets each Shabbos. The Youth Minyan, is run under the supervision of our Youth Director. Ahavas Sholom uses the Art Scroll Siddur and Chumash. The shul recently installed an innovative mechitza. The mechitza consists of a series of one-way mirrors that allow women a full view of the shul, while fulfilling halachic requirements of preventing men from viewing the women's section.
