- Chevrat Or LaOlam - A Lay Community
- Chavurah Chevrat Or LaOlam is a lay community dedicated to the promotion of the values of love, kindness, compassion and humanity. The community lives in accordance with the principles of the Or LaOlam movement of Judaism, which seeks to enlarge upon Jewish orthodoxy's traditional focus on legal certitude and religious observance through an increased awareness of age-old concepts of Jewish mysticism, which emphasizes the importance of prayer, penitence, and the revelation of the presence of God within the context of everyday life. Services are held daily and on Shabbat, in Hebrew, English and Dutch.
